The Department of Private International Law offers main courses and optional obligatory courses in Hungarian. The main courses are open students of Law, BA and MA in Private International Law – also known as the Conflict of Laws - and in International Business Transactions. The Department offers optional obligatory courses in International Commercial Arbitration and in International Family Law for law students only. Further optional courses in english are available for students held by visiting lecturers. For law students studying Conflict of Laws and International Business Transactions teaching is offered not only in form of lectures mainly analysing theoretical questions of the different areas, but also in small groups where the students can get acquainted with legal practice both in Conflict of Law areas and in International Business Transactions.
