Between the 12th-14th of June, the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University hosted a conference for law faculties that have made Catholic legal education their mission.
The collaboration, named the St. Catherine's Circle, is organized by the University of Notre Dame, School of Law in the USA.
In addition to Notre Dame Law School and Pázmány University Law School, this year's participants also included the Catholic University of John Paul II in Lublin, the Catholic University of Ukraine in Lviv and the Sulkhan-Saba Orbelian University in Georgia. The first meeting took place in Lublin last year and next year the Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University will be hosting in Tbilisi. The aim of the cooperation is for the partner universities to reflect together on their mission of Catholic legal education and to share their experiences of how they are implementing this mission in different areas of their activities, such as teaching, research, relations with students and colleagues, and community organization. In addition to showcasing good practice, the meeting will also provide a good opportunity for networking.
