The head of DLA Piper's Global Art Law practice was a guest speaker at the EU Intellectual Property Law course on 6 May. During his presentation, he gave an overview of the main issues in the application of US copyright law to the protection of works of art through several US Supreme Court cases. He also discussed the legal issues of so-called street art.
