We are pleased to invite you to the International Staff Week organized by the Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics of Pázmány Péter Catholic University (PPKE ITK).

  • Have you ever felt a tension between the goals you have, the principles you try to follow and the practices you experienced at work?
  • Have you ever faced contradiction between excellence or efficiency and ethical principles?
  • Have you thought about finding ways to make being a Catholic more tangible in your daily work?
  • Have you ever become uncertain why you are doing what you do and how to do your job right?
  • If you have ever felt the need to discuss such topics with like-minded colleagues from different aspects of university life (management, academic, administrative), join our Staff Week!

The International Staff Week is addressed to all interested colleagues from Catholic universities. We equally welcome

  • academic teaching and research staff
  • administrative staff
  • institutional leaders.

We are looking for active participants, willing to share innovative ideas and best practices from their home universities. The goal is for the participants to be inspired and to learn from one another.

To ensure the interactivity of the program, the maximum number of participants will be about 25-30. There is a limit of maximum 3 persons per institution.

The working language of the International Staff Week is English. A strong B2 level should make you comfortable during the discussions.

Participation fee:

  • Erasmus+ partner universities of PPKE: EUR 200
  • other participants: EUR 300

The participation fee includes a welcome package, welcome dinner, coffee breaks, and various cultural programs.

Please note that selected participants need to cover their travel and accommodation costs individually. (Please check with your home institution if Erasmus+ staff mobility funding is available.)

Application deadline: 31 March 2023. Accepted participants will be informed until 15 April 2023.

Please do not make any travel arrangements before your participation is confirmed.

Accommodation is not provided by the university. Participants are asked to book their own hotel for their stay. We will give participants a list of recommended accommodation and more details after the selection process.

It is recommended to use an Erasmus+ grant provided by the home university.

In case of questions, remarks, or other issues, please do not hesitate to contact the International Relations Office of PPKE ITK: international.office@itk.ppke.hu
