Koen Lenaerts, the president of the European Court of Justice, visited the faculty of law upon the invitation of dean András Zs. Varga on May 18. Professor Lenaerts was also welcomed in his capacity as the director of the Institute of European Law at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. The Faculty of Law signed a bilateral Erasmus Agreement with KU Leuven this year.

The lunch time lecture presented the most important problems where the grand chamber of the Court has adopted seminal rulings with an impact on European citizens over the recent years. Judge Juhász and Judge Csehi, the head of our civil and commercial law department also participated at the event.
