The Cross-Examination Moot Court took place in Paris between the 4th-8th of November 2023, where the team of the PPKE JÁK achieved second place. The main organizers of the competition were the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and Science Po, Other prestigious universities such as New York University (NYU), Queen Mary University of London and the National University of Singapore (NUS) also contributed to the organizing of this event:
The team consisting of Márk Dudás, Levente Kozma Gábor, Balázs Muraközy, after qualifying, eight-finals, quarter-finals and semi-finals, reached the final on 8th of November.
In the final, they played India's top law school, NALSAR University. The teams had to deal with a 250-page legal case on an airport construction concession contract.
In addition to the second place, Gábor Levente Kozma received the Compass Lexecon Special Prize for the best expert in cross-examination.
The team outperformed presitgious universities such as the London School of Economics (LSE), Queen Mary University of London, Science Po, University of Houston Law Center, Leipzig University, among others.
