Is the Hungarian Labour Code the most flexible in the world? Beyond this issue, the book examines the most important elements of the Hungarian labour law reform of 2012. The critical analysis shares ideas on challenges of modern labour regulations, especially on how to serve the traditional goals of employee protection in a setting where economic efficiency emerged as an equally important requirement. The assessment of the most debated labour law institutions, such as the prohibition of discrimination, collective rights or agency work are presented in the light of EU legislation. Thus, readers are also supported by comments on EU level regulation from a new Member State's perspective.
