Szakmai gyakorlati lehetőség az Arctic Centre of the University of Lapland-nál, 2015 márciusától 2016 februárig.

Would you please inform your students about this internship opportunity at the Arctic Centre of the University of Lapland, Rovaniemi, Finland.

TRAINEE: March 2015 – February 2016 (12 months)

1. PLACEMENT

The purpose of the placement is to help students to adapt to the requirements of the EU-wide labour market by developing specific project management skillsacquired during hands-on work experience in a real project-driven environment. The long-term aim is to contribute to the development of an open-minded and internationally experienced young people as future professionals.

The placement is offered in the Arctic Centre of the University of Lapland, in Rovaniemi, Finland. Trainee will be tutored by Project Manager.

Please note that it is up to the applicant to arrange financing of the training from ERASMUS Student Mobility for Placements at the home institution.

2. TASKS

ˇ Supporting Project Manager in project planning processes.

ˇ Monitoring available and foreseen sources of funding.

ˇ Implementing project administrative tasks.

ˇ Contribute to the timely and efficient implementation of project planning activities.

ˇ Drafting and budgeting.

3. REQUIREMENTS

ˇ You are courageous, internationally-oriented individual with strong interest in planning and managing the projects financed by the European Union.

ˇ You are ready to take challenges of the deadline-driven project life and able to work both independently and in an international team.

ˇ You study one of the following: project management, economy, political sciences, regional planning, social and/or environmental studies.

ˇ You have experience of a minimum of 1 year in assistant/support position, practical training or volunteering in the field of international projects, development policy,project management support, policy-analysis. Previous experience relevant to the Arctic region is a must.

ˇ You think, write and speak fluent English. Other languages are considered to be an asset.
